So why is it that coffee shops are so appealing? I always find myself enjoying the atmosphere of the coffee shop. If I have a book that I want to read, I like to go to the coffee shop. If I have a talk to write, I like to go to the coffee shop. If I have a little research to do, I like to go to the coffee shop. I like to meet friends there, I like to chat there, I like to sit there. Why is that? Obviously I'm not alone as there are people in coffee shops at all hours of the day and, for the most part, they seem to be quite pleasant, or at least content. Why is that?
