The reality is that religious tolerance, while it may be in question here in the USA, it is completely absent in other places of the world. As a result, there are places on the planet where Christianity is openly attacked. We just heard in the readings this weekend that when one of the parts of the body suffers, all parts suffer. It is important that we understand the sufferings of the Christians throughout the entire world, pray for them, and work for change to help our brothers and sisters in Christ.
